THE GOVERNMENT intends providing the necessary finance and building a national children’s hospital, Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore has said. He said the Government would now have to consider what options were open to it in light of An Bord Pleanála’s decision. It would have to examine if changes could be made to the existing project to satisfy the board in a new application or if an alternative site was required.
