The apartments will cater for senior citizen/social housing and include 13 one-beds, 15 two-beds and one three-bed. Provision of 81 car-parking spaces at basement level. Retail space at ground floor level. Proposed development: National Centre for Science and Discovery comprising exhibition spaces, demonstration theatres, café and shop, space for corporate and public events, offices and stepped landscaped roof garden. Location: Chester Beatty Library, Dublin Castle, Dublin 2 (protected structure). Proposed development: three-storey fire escape staircase on the west elevation of the Chester Beatty Library. Remove 1996 steel staircase. Reinstate three rooms on the north-west corner of the Clock Tower building. Instal original limestone sign salvaged from former Chester Beatty Library in Shrewsbury Road. Applicant: The Commissioners of Public Works.

Location: 65 Fitzwilliam Square North, Dublin 2 (protected structure). Proposed development: change of use of 65 Fitzwilliam Square North and the mews to the rear of Pembroke Lane from office to residential use.
