Fáilte Ireland - request for new projects

Fáilte Ireland - the National Tourism Development Authority - has been allocated €137 million under the National Development Plan (NDP) to stimulate investment in tourism development projects of international standing.

The organisation is now designing a suite of new capital grant programmes to ensure that this funding is made available for exciting and sustainable world class tourist attractions and activities throughout Ireland. It is important that these programmes are designed in a way that actively encourages innovation, creativity and demonstrable economic benefit.

Accordingly, Fáilte Ireland is actively seeking details of relevant and sustainable tourism investment propositions - whether ongoing projects or new proposals.

Such details - in the form of a brief outline of the business proposition, its location and potential cost - should be emailed to the following address by 29th June 2007 - ndp.development@failteireland.ie
