Regional and Urban Planning commenced in October 1966. Help commemorate the fortieth anniversary!

While I mention MRUP, does everyone know about the book?

The UCD course in Town Planning (Later termed Regional and Urban Planning) commenced in October 1966. To commemorate the fortieth anniversary of the foundation of the course and its continued development Bernadette Bradley and Michael Bannon have agreed to produce a history of the course in the wider context of the role of UCD and its contribution to the planned development of the country.

It is intended to tell the story of the Department through its graduates, their experiences as students and their work as graduates in both public service and private practice. It is envisaged that, with your help and that of all the graduates, the volume will combine historical accuracy while being entertaining and extensively illustrated.

To that end, you are asked to complete a questionnaire, providing as much information, anecdotes and illustration as possible. Please send the completed questionnaire and related information to: Planning@ucd.ie or to Michael.Bannon@ucd.ie or by post to the authors at Department of Planning and Environmental Policy.

Questionnaire at: http://www.logic1.org/ucd/
