The funniest thing I have seen in weeks is the ongoing defacing of Dick Roche's election posters along the N11 outside of Rathnew. The posters rear "Dick Roche - DEVELOPER'S BITCH". Whether or not you agree with this type of tagging of posters. It is an example of the type of genuine underground opposition referred to in Naomi Klein' 'No Logo'. The scale of the posters and the expression of the man make the appended words genuinely original. I laughed all the way to Dublin and on the return journey noted more of the same. Planners have mixed views on Mr Roche, but at least one voter knows exactly where he stands.
